This is primarily a maintenance release that fixes some key issues with the original Deadline 3.1 release. In additon, we have added plugin support for 3ds Max 2010(Entertainment and Design editions) and Houdini 10.
Note that if you are already running Deadline 3.1, you do not need a new license for this maintenance release.
At NAB 2009 held in Las Vegas, NV Frantic Films Software Announced the release of Deadline 3.1now offering complete cross platform support for Windows, Linux and Mac OSX-based farms. Additionally, MetaRender the render package from IRIDAS has recently joined the long list of applications that Deadline supports.
Frantic Films Software will be showcasing Deadline 3.1 and Awake at NAB 2009 April 20th - April 23rd from the booth#SL4430.
